Have you heard the news? Your favorite salty childhood snack Chicken In A Biskit is back on Singapore shores, thanks to the efforts of supermarket chain Giant. Sold exclusively at all its stores for $3.50, the biscuit obviously had everyone clamouring for a box when it returned to our island about a week ago.

If you’ve been wondering why you haven’t seen it around town lately, it’s ’cause the snack was discontinued by its supplier and pulled from the shelves of supermarkets like FairPrice and Cold Storage in August 2015. But now that Giant is bringing it back directly from the US, the much-beloved crackers are all yours for the taking — if you can find an outlet that hasn’t run out of stock.

According to The New Paper, a spokesman for Giant said that “the response for the biscuit was overwhelming on the first weekend.” But rest assured that the supermarket chain has acknowledged the high demand and will attempt to keep stocks piled up high for those who’d like a taste of nostalgia.

Exciting times ahead.
