You know that hidden corner in Wisma Atria that used to house a cafe, the one you breeze past on your way to more noticeable brands like Starbucks, Paris Baguette, and Pablo Cheese Tart? Yeah, we can’t quite remember the name of that eatery either, but no matter, because it’s been taken over by Paradise Dynasty’s new flagship restaurant.

With the brightly-lit 196-seater spruced up by rose gold trimmings, white timber, and shades of red/pink, the outlet looks a whole lot more spacious and welcoming now.

Oh, and fun fact: The Singapore-based Paradise restaurant group helms brands like Taste Paradise, Beauty in The Pot, ParaThai, and Le Shrimp Ramen under its umbrella, with almost 40 eateries in the country and more than 60 repping the Little Red Dot across the region.

You may know Paradise Dynasty for its la mian and xiao long bao, but if you’d like to try something different, the joint also offers highlights from eight different Chinese cuisines on its menu: Anhui, Cantonese, Fujian, Hunan, Jiangsu, Shandong, Sichuan, and Zhejiang. New dishes include la mian with yellow croaker fish and preserved veggies ($16.80) swimming in a broth that’s been simmering with pork and fish bones, and yellow croaker spring roll ($9.20/three), which wraps the fresh fish in crispy pastry skin.

Fret not though, xlb fanatics. The restaurant’s signature “Specialty Dynasty Xiao Long Bao” still retains its throne on the menu, plus you get a complimentary serving of a beauty collagen xiao long bao bamboo basket with every order. The collab with Beauty in The Pot lasts till the end of January, but you can’t order it by itself, so you’ll just have to scarf down double the xlbs to try this new creation.

Other classics remain on the line-up as well, with the likes of prawn and pork dumplings in chilli vinaigrette, stir-fried organic bamboo shoots with bacon, and lettuce roll with sesame dip.
