Homegrown bakery chain PrimaDéli is ready for the Lunar New Year season. Since it’s the Year of the Rooster, the brand is paying tribute to local flavours with the launch of its Hainanese chicken rice cookies ($19.80/tin), made with Prima Taste Hainanese chicken rice paste. Or if you’d like to spice things up, the laksa cookies ($19.80/tin) are making a comeback.
Also new on PrimaDéli’s festive line-up is the prune kueh lapis ($55.80), just in case you were getting bored of the regular ones.
The fan-favourite pineapple tarts are available to order as well — choose from four varieties, including the individually wrapped fortune ones ($2.10 each) and the cheese ones ($19.80/tin). As for the rest of the CNY goodies, the selection ranges from lemongrass almond cookies ($19.80/tin) to traditional love letters ($21.80/tin) to marble cakes ($9.90-$13.90).
