The flourishing dessert business founded by Peggy Chang of local lifestyle blog Sixpegs now has a store space to call its own at — where else but — the Jalan Besar neighbourhood.
Once only available online and in select stores, Chang’s egg-free tiramisu concoctions that come in seven sizes and seven flavours can now be ordered off the menu at their rather cutesy 40-seater cafe, which also serves up savoury dishes such as creamy salmon (SGD19), mac & cheese (SGD8.90) and tom kha goong (SGD13).
When we were at The Tiramisu Hero Cafe the evening of their third day, the only flavour they had left for their MiniHero was ‘original’. Several options on the alternative dessert and savoury menus were also not available.
Maybe give it a week or two before you head down.
