If an eatery’s called Duck Master and it sports a Donald Duck-looking mascot striking his best kung-fu pose, it’d better be a spot to get some pretty awesome duck. We cannot expect anything less.

By the looks of the store’s visually stunning oven and an equally stunning price point, this new Chinatown joint really could be the new shifu of roasted ducks. Located at the ground floor of People’s Park Complex, Duck Master already has a legion of loyal fans that includes the likes of professional foodie KF Seetoh himself.

At $15 per whole bird, why wouldn’t Duck Master already have long snaking queues? At that kind of price, you won’t even care that the ducks are sold uncut, especially since other spots may cost way more. To compare, Yan Chuan Roaster’s birds go at $16, Tiong Bahru Roasted pig specialist’s go at $28, Hua Zai Roasted Duck goes for $45, and Legendary Hong Kong goes for $58.

Taste-wise, there aren’t that many reviews yet on their Facebook page, but it looks like you get some pretty great duck for just $15.

Plus, that spinning glass oven they have is just too damn hypnotizing.

According to Duck Master, they’re even working on developing a booking app for smartphones to satisfy your roast duck cravings even easier. For now you’ll just have to queue up like everyone else, and wait for your roast ducks to be done and ready for pick up after an hour. Stay updated on their Facebook page.
