Stop messing around with substandard drinks and start gulping down boozy bubble teas. In the name of love, of course. At new nightclub Wan, which is somewhat of an Asian-inspired, after-dark play space, everyone’s favorite thirst-quencher is given the alcoholic treatment.

The Suntec City joint serves up five love-themed concoctions ($18 each) for parched merrymakers on a break from the dance floor, taking familiar flavors and jazzing them up with shots of liquor to give you that delightful buzz without the beer goggles effect.

First up, in a nod to our iconic cocktail, The Singapore Fling. It’s a chendol-inspired drink that blends Reyka Vodka, coconut milk, coconut water, and gula melaka, with scoops of chendol jelly and red bean heaped on top so you can pretend to be busy chewing something to avoid talking to whoever’s hitting on you.

Then there’s The Casanova, a floral mix of Hendrick’s Gin, apple juice, apricot, rose syrup, and lime juice topped with lychee balls to keep you all suave and charming with the ladies. But if you’re spending all night thinking about the one that got away, polish off the vodka-based Ex Lover potion of lime juice, vanilla syrup, and apple nata de coco instead of drowning in your sorrows.

Those in an LDR would know the pains of spending time together while oceans apart, so the Long Distance Relationship can be your companion for the night, with its mix of Sailor Jerry Spiced Rum, Thai tea leaves, vanilla syrup, and pearls.

Finally, the Childhood Sweetheart conjures up memories of old with swirls of Glenfiddich 12 single malt, Yakult grape, Aperol, lime juice, and apple nata de coco.

Best of all, the drinks are served in tiny inflatables in the shape of unicorns and flamingoes that you can take home to make yourself feel better about bingeing on all that sugar (and calories).
