2018 must be a year of seriously fantastic feng shui for tea brands to set foot in Singapore — besides the likes of TP Tea and TenRen’s Tea, we’ve been overwhelmed by so many stores that we just had to make a list of all the best bubble tea places on the island.

Hopping on board the bandwagon are two new-to-Singapore specialty tea names from Shenzhen, China, both targeted to debut here by the end of this year. TaiGai will open in Nex next month, while Nayuki will open in December, at a location that’s yet to be revealed.

Known for its fresh fruit-blended milk with cheese crowns, TaiGai’s signature is something called the Fruity Milky Kiss, with a creamy cheese foam that tops its mix of pulpy fruit and tea brew. Menu highlights include Alisan Oolong Tea from the Pure Tea Series, Pulpy Pineapple Kiss from the Fruity Milky Kiss Series, Fresh Green Lemon Burst from the Fresh Fruit Burst Series, and Red Bean Milk Tea from the Classic Milk Tea Series.

Meanwhile, Nayuki is more of a tea cafe concept that brings together fresh fruit-blended teas with stylish-looking baked goods. The brand apparently opened three stores in China in 33 days, drawing crowds to its Taiwanese-style drinks, breads, and pastries. Expect to find fruit teas, cheese teas, and milk teas on its menu.
