If VivoCity is your ‘hood, you’ve got a splash of fresh mex coming your way. The second outlet of Barrio by Mex Out is just as vibrant and colourful as the 313 @ Somerset outlet, complete with fairy lights, laidback vibes and the brand’s ‘Make Salsa Not War’ neon sign on the wall. At the new ‘street side’ diner, you can choose from indoor seats by the bar counter and open kitchen or head outdoors for picturesque views of Sentosa.
On the menu, expect the usual line-up of nachos, burritos, tacos, ceviches, tortas and burrito bowls, as well as brekkie options such as breakfast burritos with bacon, fried egg, mushrooms and tomato rice, or the breakfast protein salad with char-grilled chicken. New items include desserts like churros that come with a side of chocolate sauce.
And if you can nip out of the office from 3pm to 5pm on weekdays, take advantage of the happy hour deals at Barrio.
