Beer and Indian fusion bites come together for a mid-week dinner collaboration between RedDot BrewHouse’s Crystalla, the youngest female brewmaster in the country, and MasterChef Singapore alum Sowmiya Venkatesan, who made it to top six on the TV cooking competition. The vegetarian chef, known for her expertise in Indian flavors, joins forces with the local microbrewery for a hoppy meal that shuns the meat in its three-course offering.
They’re starting off with an amuse bouche of butter masala momos, followed by a platter of raw mango chutney, miso hummus, and madras curry mayo with crudites paired with a glass of Monster Green Lager.
Next up, a zucchini carrot tikka with mint-coriander chutney burger that’s served with Lime Wheat Beer. Then end off with a dessert of coconut barley with blueberry jam, crispy poori with rose jelly, and raspberry coconut yogurt and meringue while you sip on some barley wine.
They’re doing two dinner seatings and are offering relatively decent pricing — plus, the combination of hops and greens, plus riverside views, should easily get you over hump day.
The beer pairing dinner is on Apr 3, 6:30pm-8:30pm & 8:45pm-10:45pm at RedDot BrewHouse Boat Quay. $68-$80 per person.
