Next time you find yourself hankering for a salad, MEATliquor’s got you covered. The burger joint has expanded its menu to include four lighter, “rabbit-style” dishes (read: salads), along with new lunch opening hours from Thursdays to Saturdays, 11.30am to 2.30pm.
The chop salad ($12) tosses up a bowl of boiled egg, cucumber, croutons, red peppers, corn and sunflower seeds, drizzled with honey mustard. Then there’s the wedge salad ($15), a mix of iceburg lettuce, bacon, blue cheese, cherry tomatoes and ranch dressing.

If you’ve already inhaled a burger and stuffed yourself with a handful of chili cheese fries, refresh your palate with the Buffalo cucumber ($8), a plate full of crisp cucumber slices doused in hot sauce and sprinkled with roasted garlic and blue cheese. You’ve also got the option of taking on the margarita prawn cocktail ($18) of fresh poached crustaceans and celery salt with a house-made dipping sauce.
MEATliquor is at 99 Duxton Rd.
