If you’ve always wanted to try the exquisite modern Thai cuisine of Le Du, the Michelin-starred restaurant that this year topped the Asia’s 50 Best list and came 15th at the World’s 50 Best Restaurants list, you’re in luck. The Bangkok-based eatery is coming to Singapore for a two-week residency at Dolce Vita, the poolside Italian restaurant at Mandarin Oriental Singapore.

From Nov. 1 to 12, chef-owner Thitid “Ton” Tassanakajohn and his team of 26 will take over the kitchen at Dolce Vita and serve a specially curated menu that showcases their innovative approach to Thai food.

Using seasonal ingredients sourced locally in Thailand, Le Du creates dishes that pay homage to the country’s rich agricultural heritage and culinary traditions, while incorporating modern techniques and global influences.

The name Le Du comes from the Thai word for “season,” reflecting the restaurant’s philosophy of using only the freshest and finest produce available and Chef Ton’s rotating seasonal menu.

The residency is part of the Mandala Masters series, an initiative by Mandala Club, a luxury lifestyle platform that connects discerning travelers with exclusive experiences around the world. The series aims to bring some of the best chefs and restaurants from Asia and beyond to Singapore, offering diners a rare opportunity to taste their acclaimed cuisine without having to travel.

Le Du’s pop-up at Mandarin Oriental Singapore is also a chance for the restaurant to showcase its new look and concept, as it will be closed for renovations in Bangkok during the same period.

The residency will offer a lunch option at S$396++ per person and a dinner option at S$556++ per person. You can make a reservation here.
