After eight months of renovation and restoration works, the Lau Pa Sat Festival Market is finally reopening on Monday, June 30.
Those who work in the Shenton Way vicinity can return to their regular haunt, which according to Channel NewsAsia, can now seat 2,500 diners thanks to the significant reduction of food stalls.
Eight 14-foot fans installed along each food street ensures improved ventilation in the area.
To celebrate the re-opening, Lau Pa Sat will be holding live food demonstrations, as well as music and magic performances from 6:30pm, hosted by local comedian Gurmit Singh.
