Jollibee opens 2 new stores in Changi and Novena; launches 3 new items specially for local palate

Filipino multinational fast-food chain Jollibee is making jolly baes of us all — the growing demand for their homely fried chicken, spaghetti, palabok and more have pushed them to open two more outlets in Singapore.

With two outlets alone in Lucky Plaza (for obvious reasons) the brand has expanded beyond the city with one in Changi City Point and one in Square 2 Novena. “Our unique style of preparing our bestselling Chickenjoy was very well-received here; crunchy and juicy fried chicken enjoyed with tasty gravy is a hit with local palates,” said Jollibee Food Corporation’s Vice President for International Markets Dennis M. Flores.

“We are delighted to further extend our presence in Singapore to further bring the joy of eating to more families. ”

Not only will residents in Singapore get more places to enjoy their usual Chickenjoy set meals — Jollibee has also launched three new menu items that specially cater to our local palate. Across the four outlets in Singapore, folks can order Jollibee’s new Chicken Tenders, the Crispy Chicken Burger and the Spicy Chickenjoy — of which blows the competition well out of the water when it comes to spicy fried chicken, in our gourmand opinion.

The Filipino brand hit a milestone recently when they opened their 1,000th store at The Dubai Mall, and will be expanding even further in the USA, Middle East, Europe, Australia and Southeast Asia.
