Newly opened last month at Jewel Changi Airport, AC Kafe is a collaborative concept between bubble tea makers Woobbee and homegrown toy retailer ActionCity. Just like you’d imagine, the space is decorated with colorful designer toys of all types, with the building’s now-iconic indoor waterfall as its backdrop.
At the gallery area, bright lights illuminate the toy display, which includes an impressive range of the popular Japanese collectible Bearbrick in recognizable and rare characters. The showcase also features the likes of tokidoki and Gudetama, plus knick knacks you can buy.
On the bubble tea side, Woobbee brings to the cafe classic concoctions and exclusive new ones in flavors like popcorn honey tea latte ($6.80), salty lemon mint green tea ($6.80), honey Earl Grey with wild flower honey ($4.50-$5.60) and pearls or white fungus, and azuki matcha green tea latte ($6.30). But what the brand is known for is its pei ka koa (herbal cough syrup) beverage, which makes an appearance here as a minty tea latte made with Hokkaido milk ($6.80).
Expect standard cafe grub like burgers and fries, soups, fried snacks, and cakes to be served along with the drinks.
