Fans of tamagoyaki, if you haven’t stopped by Raffles City to get your cravings satiated by Koki Tamagoyaki, you’re sorely missing out. The traditional tamagoyaki — basically a Japanese omelette made by rolling together layers of cooked egg — goes a slightly different route at this food stall, which went from a pop-up concept to settling down at a kiosk space a couple months ago.

Fluffy on the outside and moist on the inside, the tamagoyaki here is made upon order and allowed to cool for several minutes before serving, so be prepared for a bit of a wait. If you’re a purist, stick with the original — if not, go for toppings like braised char siu, grilled unagi or chicken karaage for more of a meaty kick to your snack.

The stall also serves up crispy-on-the-outside, creamy-on-the-inside choux puffs in flavors like chocolate, coffee, matcha, vanilla and black sesame for those who prefer a sweet treat.

Koki Tamagoyaki is at #B1-54 Raffles City. Daily 10am-10pm.
