Taking over the gorgeous space at the Fullerton Pavilion, Monti is a swanky Italian restaurant and jazz lounge with twinkling views of Marina Bay. Besides its newly-launched nightly jazz sessions, it’s now hosting Singapore’s longest brunch every Sunday — and by ‘longest’, we mean the festivities start at noon and keep on going till midnight.
But it is really brunch if the sun has set and you’re gazing up at the night sky? Well, okay, so technically the brunch buffet ends around 3pm, but you’re more than welcome to linger over drinks and groovy melodies.
Now let’s dive into the spread. It’s quite a massive selection, with fresh seafood offerings like oysters, tiger prawns and tuna tataki, cold cuts such as duck rillette, prosciutto, and gorgonzola, as well as a salad table with leafy greens and toppings.
But that’s just for starters. To pile on the carbs, head to the risotto live station for a black truffle risotto mixed in a parmesan cheese wheel, or order pasta plates like seafood fregola or tagliatelle autunalle.
Then there’s the egg station if you’re craving an omelette or eggs benny, and a carving station, which features roasted rib eye, baked salmon fillet and roasted leg of lamb with an anchovy and herb rub.
To end it all off (if you’re not stuffed by now), sink your teeth into desserts like peanut cream cheese tartlets, struffoli with honey and nutella, mango panna cotta and tiramisu. Oh, and did we mention there’s also a make-your-own bloody mary drinks booth? But for the ultimate indulgent experience, burn a bigger hole in your pocket and get the free flow wine or champagne option.
After you’ve ate your fill, head up to the rooftop to dance off all the calories you just ingested, as DJs will be spinning house tunes till 7pm. Then settle in for the night at the lounge as jazz performers take the stage from 9pm till midnight.
The brunch is every Sun starting from Apr 16, noon-midnight at Monti. $90-$160/person.
