Cult favorite Indonesian instant noodle brand Indomie has been elevated to new heights at Rumah Rasa, the recently revamped halal restaurant nestled in Bay Hotel Singapore. But wait, you say. Isn’t it a tad ridiculous to fork out more than $2 for instant noodles?

Well, take heart that none of the five Indomie dishes are over $10, and they’re all recipes that you can possibly attempt to recreate at home if you ever get tired of Indomie on its own. To start off, order the “nuggets” ($7.90), which feature the noodles blanketed in bread crumbs and deep fried, or the eatery’s rendition of gado gado ($8.90), served with tempeh, tofu, and keropok.

For something a little heartier, try the crispy soft shell crab Indomie tossed in chilli crab sauce ($9.90), the soto ayam Indomie begedil ($7.90), or the beef stroganoff Indomie swimming in chilli padi sauce ($9.90).

Oh, and Rumah Rasa’s also giving away two dozen packets of Indomie for free every fortnight — in case all you hardcore instant noodle fans need another reason to flock to the restaurant.

Rumah Rasa is at L1, Bay Hotel Singapore, 50 Telok Blangah Rd. Indomie dishes available from Mon-Thurs for a limited time period.
