If you’ve had the luxury of tasting Bake Cheese Tart’s pastries at one of its many outlets around the world (think Hong Kong, Bangkok, Seoul and, of course, Japan), you’ll be psyched to hear that the Hokkaido brand is opening a branch in Singapore. A launch date hasn’t been confirmed, but we hear the store should be opening some time over the next two months, in the basement food hall of Ion Orchard (#B4-33, to be exact).
The famous cheese tart features a creamy mousse, blended from three different types of cream cheese, lying atop a crunchy, twice-baked tart base. But really, our words fail in comparison to the description on the official website: “The best cheese tart in your life ever for you. We have so much passion for cheese tart SERIOUSLY.”
Obviously, they don’t kid around when it comes to cheese tarts.
