So you wanna get your bake on but you just don’t have the oven for it – or maybe the thought of cleaning up afterwards is enough to dissuade you. Well, here’s a new DIY baking studio where you can whip up all the sweet treats you want, without giving a second thought to the mess you’re making.
Funsiamo, a popular brand from Taiwan, is officially opening its first overseas outlet at Suntec City on Aug 4. The 1,200 sq ft space, decked out in black, white, and yellow hues, comes fully equipped with all the kitchen appliances and ingredients you need to put on your amateur baker hat.
As if that’s not fuss-free enough, the place also provides recipes for you to try, starting with 15 in the first month and more to come. Desserts include fancy macarons, rainbow cakes, Valrhona banana chocolate cakes, madeleines, Hokkaido chocolate cupcakes, blueberry tarts, strawberry tarts, chocolate pound cakes, mango mousse cakes, unicorn cakes, and more.
No guarantees that your bakes will turn out as beautiful as these press pics, but hey, practice makes perfect, right?
To get a slot for yourself and your baking buddies, you can call ahead to make a booking or try your luck with a walk in.
