Are you obsessed with rainbows and sparkles? Is your life all about things that twinkle and glitter in the night? Do you live by the motto, “faith, trust and pixie dust”?
If you answered yes to all the above, then you’re probably part of the unicorn craze that has happily seen cakes, shakes and other desserts across the globe get the multi-colored unicorn treatment.
But Hougang cafe Hatter Street is one upping its competition — because unicorn cakes are so yesterday — with ice cream waffles starring the enchanted creatures.
Almost too cute to eat, no?
The Unicorn Whoaffles ($14) — a dessert of Belgian waffle topped with scoops of lavender white choc and toasted marshmallow ice cream, detailed with tiny meringues and biscuits — debuted in August, after Hatter Street served up unicorn sundaes (now no longer available) at the Singapore Coffee Festival and got bombarded by eager Instagrammers.
But back to the waffles. Just gaze at the beauty of it all.
Anyway, if you’re still determined to stick to unicorn cakes after all this, well, Hatter Street also customizes ’em for special occasions.
