There’s a new gourmet hotdog kiosk in town, and it’s great for those who prefer daily desk lunches (for some reason), or perhaps don’t have the time to spare for a full sit-down meal during office hours. Tucked away at the basement of Paragon, the grab-and-go stall serves up pork bratwurst buns for anyone after a quick meal.
Some of the five options include Coney’s Island ($6.50), topped with diced onions, minced beef in tomato paste, mustard, and Worcestershire sauce; Bac & Cheeze ($6.50) with oozing Raclette cheese and fried bacon bits; and Slaw & Order ($6.50) with a pineapple, carrot and cabbage coleslaw. Or if you’d like to do away with the bun, get the S’mash ($6.50) for a bed of mashed potato and gravy instead.
For a side of fried carbs, add to your order croquettes ($3.30/three) of mashed potato, bacon bits and mozzarella. You can also top up a couple dollars to get a set meal ($9.90) that includes a drink and croquettes or fries with your bun.
