Beef patty or fried chicken? “¿Por que no dos?” the people at Three Buns and CHIX Hot Chick’n probably heard you say, so these two popular eateries have teamed up to create a mouthwatering masterpiece that combines the best of both worlds: the Bober’s Hot Chix & Patty.
This epic sandwich, which costs S$20++, features a crispy and spicy fried chicken thigh from CHIX Hot Chick’n, a Nashville-style fried chicken joint that has been making waves in Singapore since 2018. The chicken is paired with a juicy and tender beef patty from Three Buns, a burger specialist that uses quality meats and house-made sauces and pickles to craft playful and delicious burgers.
The meaty duo is topped with creamy Brie de Meaux cheese, crunchy pickled onion and lettuce, and smothered with tangy BBQ ketchup and rich truffle aioli. All this goodness is sandwiched between a soft and toasted demi Brioche bun. For those who like it extra hot, you can also add Moruga Scorpion Pepper to your fried chicken, which stings as hard as it sounds.
Yes, coroner, please stand by.
The Bober’s Hot Chix & Patty is the result of a creative collaboration between Three Buns Executive Chef Adam Penney and CHIX Hot Chick’n Co-founder Ismail Bober, who wanted to offer something new and exciting to their loyal customers.
This decadent sandwich combo is only available until the end of December (or while stocks last) at Three Buns Quayside, a cozy and vibrant spot located at 60 Robertson Quay. The restaurant is open from Tuesday to Sunday, from 5-9:30pm; Fridays from noon-9:30pm; Saturdays from 10am-9:30pm; and Sundays from 10am-9pm.
