The date has been set, and the drinks have been prepped. Gong Cha will officially return to Singapore with its flagship outlet — the first of many, we assume — at SingPost Centre on Friday. The popular bubble tea chain, which saw all its outlets here replaced by homegrown brand LiHO earlier this year, has gotta be pretty triumphant about this comeback, judging by the number of rabid fans flocking to its Facebook page.

On the menu, you’ll find crowd favorites like Earl Grey milk tea, passion fruit green tea, and milk foam alisan tea, alongside new drinks like purple sweet potato milk tea, brown sugar fresh milk oolong, and matcha with red bean. Expect new smoothie and tea latte options as well, with prices happily remaining where they were previously.

According to the new master franchisee, Gong Cha also plans to launch two more outlets (one in the Orchard area) soon, and an expansion that’ll see to cafes with dine-in areas.

Check out the promos below.

And as always, beware the never-ending queues.

Gong Cha opens on Dec 1, noon at #01-141A/B SingPost Centre, 10 Eunos Rd.
