Forget teh tarik: KitKat also comes in other strange flavors like nasi lemak and durian

By now, you would’ve caught wind of the hype that is teh tarik KitKat — or, as it’s officially known, KitKat Duo Milk Tea. Spotted at Giant supermarkets a couple days ago by eagle-eyed chocolate wafer fans, the combination of milk tea and chocolate had everyone scrambling to get their hands on one.

Naturally, the snack sold out quickly, and the brand later updated feverish KitKat enthusiasts that the new creation is now available “at all leading supermarkets,” meaning NTUC FairPrice, Cold Storage, and Sheng Siong (besides Giant).

Anyway, if that’s a tad too mainstream for you, perhaps a bite of durian KitKat would be of interest. Or maybe ice kacang KitKat, with red bean, melon, sweet corn, peanuts, and cashews. Or even nasi lemak KitKat, complete with coconut flakes, chilli, and a sprinkling of peanuts.

All these we found displayed on Redmart ($7.50/box), along with the teh tarik flavor ($4.95) — although they’re currently sold out. But if you’re enough of a KitKat fan, you’ll probably be waiting for the online retailer to notify you if/when the goods are back in stock.
