It’s been almost a century since it opened in California, and American heritage brand See’s Candies has finally landed in Singapore — just in time for Christmas.
A staple souvenir from your Asian American relatives, now you no longer have to fly to Hong Kong, Taiwan or Tokyo to sink your teeth into one solid piece of Victoria Toffee, crunchy, buttery toffee and whole almonds drenched in milk chocolate and chopped almonds ($49/454g); or the Toffee-ettes ($45, 454g), which is Victoria Toffee in nugget form.
The Singapore store at The Forum Shopping Mall branch only sells chocolates by the box and tin can right now, but by January customers will be able to pick and mix sweet treats and pay for them by weight. If you’re looking for stocking stuffers, you can’t go wrong with the the classic Nuts and Chews ($46/312g) and Assorted Chocolates ($53/360g).
