Hey you. Yes, you durian-obsessed dessert lover. You’re in for a treat this month as Marriott Cafe makes the King of fruits the star of its latest buffet. From now till July 31, gorge on a ridiculously gelat selection of durian desserts at the Love of Durians High Tea, where there’ll be durian trifles, durian strudel, durian donuts, durian caramel muffins, mochi durian and even fried durian balls. It’s the ultimate heaty meal.
Sure, there’s also the savoury selection of seafood, dim sum and local dishes like char kway teow, nasi lemak and laksa, but these are just sides compared to the main feast of durians.
Love of Durians High Tea is available from now till Jul 31, 3pm-5.30pm at Marriott Cafe, Marriott Singapore Tang Plaza. Mon-Fri adults $42, children 5-12 $25; Sat & Sun adults $45, children 5-12 $28.
