After gazing at our neighbors across the border in envy (or making a desperate trip to JB) when McDonald’s launched the much lauded Durian McFlurry in Malaysia last year, our patience has finally paid off. The fast food giant announced on Facebook — complete with a teaser video — yesterday that Singapore will be getting the frozen treat from July 5, and naturally its post went viral.

Apparently, the ice cream is made with “real D24”, but we’ll only know for sure if it stays true to the King of Fruits when Thursday rolls around.

For now, you’ll just have to be content with scrolling through a bunch of Durian McFlurry photos from McDonald’s Malaysia, which recently relaunched the ridiculously popular dessert after it sold out quickly last year.

Look who’s back? #durianmcflurry
