Singaporeans can never get enough of food. Amidst the numerous farmers’ markets, chef collab specials and pop-up sessions, a new street food festival has emerged, and it bears the official Michelin guide stamp of approval.

Yep, we’re talking about Singapore’s very first Michelin guide Street Food Festival, to be held at Resorts World Sentosa in April. With a retro theme inspired by local cuisine from the ’60s and ’70s, the two-day fest will feature live performances by homegrown musicians and a lucky draw for each session.

Just think about it — you’ll get access to all kinds of Michelin-starred and Bib Gourmand eateries in one space, with restaurants whipping up their signatures and their take on local street foods at a rather affordable starting price of $2.50.

On the line-up are names from Singapore’s first Michelin guide last year — check out the list below.

  • Joël Robuchon Restaurant (3 Michelin stars): Breads and pastries.
  • Shoukouwa (2 Michelin stars): Japanese dishes in Tsukiji Market-style.
  • D’O restaurant by Davide Oldani (1 Michelin star in Italy’s Michelin guide): Italian street snacks.
  • The Song of India (1 Michelin star): Street food from India.
  • Hong Kong Soya Sauce Chicken Rice & Noodle (1 Michelin star): Plates of Cantonese soya sauce chicken rice.
  • A Noodle Story (Bib Gourmand): Ramen done in Singapore-style.
  • Hoo Kee Rice Dumpling (Bib Gourmand): Glutinous rice with salted duck egg yolk and mushrooms, all wrapped in bamboo leaf.
  • JB Ah Meng (Bib Gourmand): White pepper crab.
  • Na Na Curry (Bib Gourmand): Platters of curry chicken and veggies.
  • Shi Hui Yuan Hor Fun (Bib Gourmand): Rice noodles and gravy with chicken, duck or chicken feet.
  • Song Fa Bak Kut Teh (Bib Gourmand): Pork ribs in peppery broth.
  • Wedang (Bib Gourmand): Traditional Malay bites like gado-gado, tauhu goreng and satay.

The Michelin guide Street Food Festival is on from Apr 14-15, 6pm-8pm or 8.30pm-10.30pm at The Coliseum, Resorts World Sentosa. Min purchase of $20 to enter, includes $20 worth of credits to use at all stalls; VIP tickets $140, each session has a limit of 40 VIP seats. All payment for food will be by coupons.
