In support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, L’Espresso is whipping up a storm of sweet treats in every shade of pink imaginable. Its popular English Afternoon Tea buffet will receive the coloured treatment, with an assortment of sandwiches, pastries, desserts and even a pink chocolate fountain.
Savoury highlights include smoked salmon sandwiches, crispy potato prawns with mentaiko dip, and Atlantic shrimp cocktail with raspberry aioli; while the pastry section boasts everything from pink macarons and donuts to strawberry panna cotta and mini raspberry cupcakes.
You’ll also be sipping on TWG Pink Flamingo tea, or you can choose to enjoy the high life by topping up a couple bucks for Laurent-Perrier Cuvée Rosé champagne.
Plus, every diner will get a Breast Cancer Foundation pink ribbon pin (worth $2), and the hotel will donate to the organisation the value of the total number of pins given out.
