To celebrate Red House Seafood’s 40th anniversary, the restaurant is hosting its first-ever eating challenge starring its signature dish, the chilli crab bao. Stuff as many of them down your throat as you can in eight minutes to win cash prizes of up to $3,888 and dining vouchers worth $200 at the eatery.
But first, you gotta chomp down on ten baos as quick as you can. Only eight participants with the fastest times will qualify for the finals.
If you’d rather enjoy your meal slowly, Red House is offering 40 percent off all dim sum items from now till the end of December this year.
Registration for the competition is open from now till Aug 6. A $10 fee is required, and contestants will get a $20 Red House Seafood voucher, a tee and a tote bag upon completion of the challenge.
