After bringing us character-themed pop-ups with Cinnamoroll and Miffy, Japanese-French cafe Kumoya’s colorful new collaboration is with the cuddly Care Bears. From Feb 1 till the end of March, the Halal-certified eatery will host the rainbow range of bears in their Care-a-lot home, with a menu put together once again by Little Miss Bento.
With standard cafe prices ranging from $8.90 to $28.90, the line-up of food and drinks includes seafood chowder, meatball pasta, fish and chips, chicken katsu burger, salted egg yolk fries, and ice cream waffles — all infused with Care Bear cheer, of course. Going by past standards, the food at Kumoya is pretty decent — but unless you’re a total Care Bear fan, you probably won’t be as excited to have a meal surrounded by rainbows, stars, and furry creatures on clouds.
