This churros and cheese tart hybrid by Nigiro Cafe boasts an irresistible molten centre

Cheese tarts are awesome. That much we know. But churro cheese tarts? That’s like a whole other level of deliciousness. This wickedly cool invention is the brainchild of Nigiro Cafe, where each baked pastry goes for $4.80. The generously-portioned tart is best eaten on the spot — not just ’cause it’s lovely when warm and fresh out of the oven, but also ’cause you won’t wanna torture yourself with whiffs of sweetness all the way home.

Think of it as a buttery crust filled with molten cheese and sealed with a churro top, which is then sprinkled with cinnamon sugar. We’re surprised no one thought of this sooner. Oh, and be sure to check the cafe’s Facebook page before you head down, as these tarts sell out quickly.

Nigiro Cafe Singapore is at #03-315 Suntec City, 3 Temasek Blvd. Daily 11.30am-9.30pm.
