Brunch addicts, help yourself to SPRMRKT’s new menu of oyster frittatas, pork buns and eggs

A new brunch spot has opened its kitchen to serve all you weekend brunch addicts, and it’s right by the waters of Robertson Quay. The upscale SPRMRKT Kitchen & Bar is all about blending contemporary American cuisine with local childhood favourites, and that’s what you get in its simple but hearty dishes.

Eggs feature prominently on the limited menu items, the most basic of which is the bread, bacon and three eggs ($17) dish that you can get in any style you like. For something a little more on the healthy side, try the 5-grain florentine ($24) of oats, quinoa, brown rice, bulgur and barley. Other dishes include the oyster frittata ($24) with ricotta, the huevos tostados ($26) with flank steak and hollandaise, and the roasted pork belly buns with poached eggs and paprika hollandaise ($25).

Sadly enough, if you’re not a fan of eggs, you’ve only got one option — the savoury French toast ($23) with ground pork, avocado and worcestershire. But sharing plates such as a sausage platter with rosti carnitas ($40), baby potatoes with ricotta and chives ($10) and brussel sprouts with sambal mayo ($10) are also available.

SPRMRKT Kitchen & Bar is at #02-01, 41 Robertson Quay. Brunch is on Sat 9am-4pm & Sun 9am-6pm.
