A&W is riding the nostalgia train back to Ang Mo Kio before the opening of its second Singapore outlet at AMK Hub this month. In a throwback Facebook post this morning, the fast food chain walked us down memory lane with pics of its heartland branch from over a decade ago. (Well, they say it’s been “more than 10 years”, but we think it’s more like 20 or 30 years, judging by the fashion of the people spotted inside.)
Anyone who’s grown up in the area would have fond memories of curly fries, waffles, and root beer floats at the old school spot, but even residents from other neighborhoods chimed in on social media to reminisce their childhood days at the brand’s numerous eateries in the country.
