It’s not like we’re in dire need of yet another burger joint (see Potato Head, 25 Degrees, Omakase Burger, Fatboy’s, Wolf Burgers, and, well, Burger Joint), but we’re getting one anyway. American chain Fatburger is coming to Singapore as soon as next month, setting up its kitchen at two locations: Velocity at Novena Square, and OneKM mall in Katong.
In case you’ve been too preoccupied with other American names like In-N-Out Burger or Shake Shack (which is actually rumored to be coming to Singapore soon-ish), then know this: Fatburger has been around since 1952, expanding to countries across the globe like Japan, the Philippines, and Beijing in the years since. So in burger world, these guys are OGs.
In Singapore, Fat Brands, the parent company of Fatburger and Buffalo’s Express, has partnered with Deelish Brands to open co-branded eateries on our shores over the next couple years. And that means besides burgers, fries, and shakes, diners can also add a heaping order of buffalo wings to their tab.
Protein heads will be psyched to find the built-to-order burgers available in patty sizes from single to quadruple ($7.90-$15.90), with customizable toppings like pickles, tomatoes, lettuce, onions, relish, and mayo. To cut the carbs, get the Skinny burger ($7.50) for more beef patties instead of buns. You can also pay a little extra for additional fillings like chilli, cheese, and egg. Then there are the skinny, fat, and sweet potato fries ($3.90-$5.90), onion rings, and buffalo wings, which come in options like traditional, boneless, and chicken tenders.
To top it all off, sweet tooths can satiate their cravings with super creamy chocolate, vanilla, strawberry, or Oreo milkshakes.
