Coffee chains no longer just sell coffee. They hop on the all-day breakfast bandwagon, too. Like O’Coffee Club, which just launched an eggs-heavy menu starting from a rather affordable $5.90.
Choose from the full breakfast, three-egg omelettes, eggs and toast with butter and jam, croissants and waffles for a basic breakfast, or go for something a little different like the massive three-tiered waffle stacker ($19.90) of scrambled eggs and bacon sandwiched between three waffles drizzled with coffee maple syrup, gula melaka cream or regular maple syrup.

Then there’s the eggs Benedict ($10.90), a staple on cafe brekkie menus all over the country. This not-too-exciting but sure-to-be-popular rendition features two poached eggs on ciabatta with either smoked salmon, ham or bacon, doused in hollandaise sauce.

The classic French toast ($7.90) also makes an appearance, sliced into bite-sized pieces here and served with orange-infused mascarpone cheese and coffee maple syrup.

Other existing signatures at O’Coffee Club — who knew there were so many — include chicken pie with toasted paprika tortillas ($12.90), garlic prawn pasta ($15.90), and local favourites like prawn laksa ($15.90) and chilli crab linguine ($19.90).

There’s even an old school mud pie ($11.90) for those with a sweet tooth — it’s a hunk of cappuccino and chocolate ice cream sitting on a cookie base, drenched in chocolate sauce and Oreo crumbs.

But since the franchise has coffee in its name, you can’t forget about the bean here. Among regular options like cold brews, mochas and cappuccinos, the frozen espresso latte ($6.40) stands out for its slightly tacky but admittedly more unique approach to coffee. You get to choose from a polar bear or penguin-shaped espresso ice cube, which chills out in a cup while warm milk slowly melts it down.

For non-coffee drinks to go with your food, try the new ice blended matcha or get fruity with citrusy orange or sweet berry slushies.
O’Coffee Club has 12 outlets in Singapore, including #02-332A-F Marina Square, 6 Raffles Blvd. Daily 10am-10pm.
