In a time when Singapore is struggling with cat abuse and unsolved cases of stray cat killings, the Singapore Tourism Board (STB) collaborated with the Cat Welfare Society to bring a little joy to feline lovers everywhere.
In an effort to attract tourists, STB put on a video showcase of Singapore’s stray cats from the different neighbourhoods and districts. It’s a cute video we must say, and one that’s proving pretty effective to cat lovers. They’ve even prepared a ‘Cat lovers guide to Singapore‘, with places such as Thian Hock Keng Temple, Tiong Bahru market and more highlighted.
Funnily enough, they forgot to include the time when then-Minister of State for National Development Dr Vivian Balakrishnan initiated a heavy-handed campaign of stray cat culling.
