112 complainants so far against salon which closed down without warning

There’s only one thing worse than losing a trusted hair stylist — losing money to a trusted hair stylist.

So far, the Consumers Association of Singapore has received 112 complaints against salon chain The Scissorhands and its affiliate, Shizahanzu, which closed down six outlets within three days, according to news reports.

According to Channel NewsAsia, some customers still have thousands of dollars worth of credit. Complainants were redirected by CASE to the Small Claims Tribunal, but no representative from the salon, founded by Leong Pang and ‘May’, showed up during the hearing.
