GO TO A REGGAE GIG  
Dec 20. Now is a good time to go to a reggae show and celebrate Papadom’s life. Another Pinoy reggae stalwart, Indio I will be playing Apache Burgers & Ribs over at Paranaque on Friday. Dec 21. Ayala Foundation, Inc., and Ayala Museum present Season’s Symphonies. A series of five Christmas concerts, the one happening right before Christmas will feature the UP Guitar Orchestra, playing for the benefit of Yolanda victims. 7pm. Ayala Museum Ground Lobby, Makati. PHP500

HEAR SIMBANG GABI 
Dec 21 & 22. Simbang Gabi at the CCP. Enjoy the amihan breeze and the sight of early morning joggers as you attend an early morning mass at the Cultural Center of the Philippines ramp area. On Dec 24 (8pm), arrive early to grab a seat at the Christmas Eve Mass at the CCP Main Theater. The Philippine Philharmonic Orchestra performs traditional Christmas tunes prior to the mass, while excerpts from the famous ‘Vamos a Belen’ of the Ramon Obusan Folkloric Group are integrated before and during the mass. For the finale, the Philippine Madrigal Singers leads a 100-voice chorale in singing Mr. Ryan Cayabyab’s “Munting Sanggol”. 5am. CCP, Roxas Blvd, Manila
