Evacuees flood Santo Domingo Church

Evacuees from nearby Barangay Tatalon have started pouring in at Santo Domingo Parish in Quezon City. As of this writing, there are more than 700 people at the parish, who fled their homes because of floods caused by non-stop rains pounding Metro Manila this week, according to Fr. Jeffrey Aytona, O.P., communications officer of the Philippine Dominican Province. “We need help like food, water, clothes and other emergency relief items,” he said. Good Samaritans can drop off their donations 24/7 at the lobby of Santo Domingo Parish (537 Quezon Avenue, Quezon City; tel. no. 743 7756).
