There’s three shows opening at Silverlens Gallery on Thursday and we’re excited about all of them. There’s Jonathan Ching, who painted the dog above for “Sputnik Dreams,” his first solo show at the Makati gallery. Then there are installations by Christina Quisumbing Ramilo (“Construct”) who loves to build houses with her own bare hands – most of the objects that will be on display were collected from a new home she is building in Cavite and this year’s edition of “Postlocal” which features a mashup of three artists: Dennis Gonzales, Jay Ticar and Lyra Garcellano. Silverlens Gallery, 2/F YMC Bldg II, 2320 Don Chino Roces Avenue Ext Makati; +63 2 816 0044. Mon-Fri 10am-7pm, Sat 1-6pm. These three exhibitions run through Oct 19.
