After posting on Facebook a revealing open letter to fans where she shared how she felt bad about letting herself get fat and how she is “going through one of the lowest times of my life and career,” the Megastar announced through Facebook and Twitter last Friday, Aug. 29, that she is no longer with TV5.
She said in the caption: “I am going to drop clues every now and then as to the things I will be working on which will start sooner than you think! So keep watching out for those clues. Goodnight, everyone! Sweet dreams and May God bless you always!”
In 2012, Ate Shawi signed a PHP1-billion contract with the station, and people are assuming that she now has to pay the network since she is not finishing her contract with the network, which has given her projects like Kasama Mo, Kapatid, The Mega and the Songwriter, and Madam Chairman.
