He’s got no problem committing to his kids or his job, but he won’t get hitched.
“Quezon City Mayor Herbert Bautista has apologized to the mothers of his children after he admitted that he doesn’t have any plans to settle down,” reports Mario Dumaual on ABS-CBNnews.com.
At a recent press, Bautista talked about the status of his relationship with his common-law wife Teresa Tates Gana and his other former partners. Gana is the mother of his children, Harvey and Athena.
Bautista explained: “I maintain my friendship and my respect to the mothers of my children. I’m seeking their forgiveness if I have done something wrong to all of them. But I thank them so much for bearing good children—God-fearing and respectful children.”
Bautista also said that “it would be impossible for him to marry as long as he is still holding a seat in public office.”
“I’ve always been single. I’m not committed to anyone. I’m committed to my kids, to my work, and it would be unfair because I don’t have the time,” he quipped.
But, wait, you had time to…er…have kids.
