“A group of survivors of supertyphoon Yolanda will storm on Friday, Mar 28 the main office of the Department of Social Welfare and Development in Quezon City to bring the rotten relief goods distributed by the agency in Tacloban City,” reports Dennis Carcamo on Philstar.com.
Members of the group, People Surge, led by Sister Edita Eslopor, are planning “to dump the damaged relief goods at the office of DSWD Secretary Dinky Soliman.”
People Surge will also renew the call for the DSWD to facilitate the distribution of relief goods to the affected families in Yolanda-hit areas.
Earlier this month, Yolanda survivors had alread stormed the DSWD office.
