Manileño wins PHP18.8 million lotto prize

With so many bad things happening, let’s try some happy news for a change.

“The Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) announced on Tuesday, May 20, that a 55-year-old X-ray technician based in Manila recently claimed the PHP18.8-million jackpot of the 6/45 Mega Lotto’s April 28 draw,” reports Perseus Echeminada in The Philippine Star.

The man reportedly bet PHP40 on random picks.

The PCSO added that the winner, who is married and has four children, told them that he plans to renovate his house, invest in a business, and save for his children’s future.

We wonder if he’ll quit his job?
