We’ll be the judge of that, Justin.
Justin Gular, a sophomore from the University of San Carlos College of Law in Cebu City, just experienced something most of us are all too familiar with: “wrong send” or text messages sent by mistake.
However, this mistake was multiplied in perpetuum when he mistakenly sent a romantic message — to his law school’s dean!
Your honor, we present to you exhibit 1: Justin’s Text Message
TODAY I BECAME A LEGEND IN LAW SCHOOL!

Behold, your honor, how the defendant tweeted the evidence.
On July 14, Friday, Mr. Gular sends, “Hello babyyy I love youuu”
Only it’s not his baby’s number. It’s no other than dean Joan Largo of the USC College of Law!
Dean Largo jokingly replies 40 minutes later, “I love you, too, babe” with a smiley face.
To his horror, Justin apologizes to the dean. She then asks, “Unsa meaning anang GM?” (What does GM mean?)
Justin explains, “Wrong send kay ga duka duka hehe” (Wrong send because I’m sleepy).
Dean Largo doesn’t have any objection, though. She’s pretty cool, she even threw a party for their college’s stellar performance in the bar exams. So Justin’s off the hook.
She replies: “Wa juy disturbo! Nalingaw ko pag-ayo.” (I wasn’t bothered! I enjoyed that!)
Let this be a lesson to everyone with their dean’s mobile number: Double check if you’re texting your dean or your baby.
