Would you like to have a real Voltes V Lego set? Well, let’s help this Pinoy out!

Arthur Tanseco is a Pinoy banker who works in Hong Kong and comes home to Manila every weekend to be with his family. Like most 39-year-olds, he never really outgrew two things: Lego and Voltes V. Luckily, he has three sons—“hence, the excuse to continue to buy and play with Lego.”

As such, he’s quite familiar with Lego Ideas—Lego’s way of letting fans pitch a set idea to Lego. Fans are given one whole year to get 10,000 votes, after which the proposal will eligible for a Lego review. If the Lego peeps deem an idea cool enough, the mastermind will recognized and will get a percentage of the sales—plus “5 sets of my creation,” shares Arthur over email.

“There are a number of sets that have been released through this process—there’s the Minecraft Lego but my favorites are the Back to the Future and Ghostbuster sets,” he continues.

It was only a matter of time before Arthur himself joined. No better thing to do than to combine Lego with another one of his childhood favorites: Voltes V. He’s already created quite an impressive looking specimen. It’s so big it will surely get the attention of kiddos. The pop reference, meanwhile, will surely get the attention of the adults. This is his first time to submit.

“For avid fans like me, I would most likely have two sets: one to display as the full robot and one as the individual ships,” Arthur writes on his proposal page on the Lego Ideas website.

He already has 203 supporters with 361 days left. How about we help Arthur reach 10,000 votes? Check out his page and vote!
