World War II bomb dug up in QC

A bomb from the Second World War was unearthed by road repair crew in Project 4, Quezon City.

On Thursday, an area at the corner of Tirona and P. Tuazon Streets in Project 4 was cordoned off by authorities after workers reported their discovery. According to Allan Gatus of GMA News’ dzBB, police confirmed that the find was a Wold War II explosive that may explode if handled incorrectly.

Bomb disposal teams arrived shortly after and placed a special bomb blanket on the vintage explosive. Reports said the bomb might be brought to Tarlac.
