Be careful about who you gossip about, you could end up dead.
“A woman was attacked by her sister-in-law for allegedly spreading gossip in Pasig City yesterday morning,” reports Arlene Rivera in People’s Journal.
Police arrested Cristel Ren, who stabbed her sister-in-law Marry Ann Indiano several times. Ren confronted the victim on Thursday after for allegedly spreading rumors that she was stealing from their family’s bakery.
Instead of answering the accusation, Indiano merely shrugged off the suspect, casually entered her house and slammed the door at her. Ren sought help from her lover and barged into the victim’s house.
With his lover holding the suspect, Ren stabbed the victim repeatedly until concerned neighbors intervened. The victim was rushed to the hospital where she is recuperating, while the suspect is in jail awaiting to be charged.
