Woman robbed in taxi in Quezon City

A woman was a victim of a taxi hold up last Monday night in Quezon City.

Twenty-year-old Karen Rose Robles of Malolos, Bulacan reported to the police that robbers boarded the taxi she was riding and took P20,000 in cash and other gadgets from her.

According to Quezon City Police District officer PO3 Wilnor Agudo, Robles was riding a taxi, with plate number FWW 988, to West Avenue when two men boarded the vehicle at the Seaoil Gas Station near GMA7 and EDSA.

The men took her iPod Nano and flash drive, and later instructed her to withdraw money from her ATM account. She was later dropped off along Congressional Avenue in Barangay Bahay Toro.

The robbers fled in the same taxi, Inquirer News reported.
